Ebony Pencils combine graphite with carbon.
These extra smooth pencils make fine line work stand out in the crowd. They were specifically designed for sketching, portrait and figure drawing, and illustrations. Their versatile nature makes them a pencil every artist should have in their arsenal.

Also, it's very interesting that these pencils can be blended with e. g. white spirit or oils like Zest-it. So, smooth areas can be achieved easily.

Last but not least: Unfortunately, there's a snag. Prismacolor Ebony are the most hardest to sharpen pencils in this shop. So, breaking cores will occure quite often, and the "cure-all solution" electric or manual sharpening machine do not resolve this problem.
