We and many customers have examined, tested and approved: The hand cranked pencil sharpener Dahle 133.
With this manual pencil sharpener even the fastidious
Prismacolor Pencils finally get pleasant. Even square sticks like
Prismacolor Art Stix can be sharpened with the Dahle.
The pencil point can be adjusted from short to long and very sharp.

The soft clamping jaws are gummed and chuck the pencil softly without leaving "bite marks" like most other hand cranked sharpeners, which have metal clamps. |
And with the included table clamp, you can fix the Dahle 133 at the edge of your drawing table. Additionally, there is a longer table clamp available for table leafs thicker than 66 mm (2 1/2").
Last but not least - two tips:
1. If you mostly sharpen wax based pencils like Prismacolor or Derwent Coloursoft, after a while, wax will settle on the milling cutter. You can maintain it by sharpening a woodless graphite pencil from time to time. Graphite is a natural lubricant and cleans the cutter gently.
2. The sharpener can be disassembled by turning the corrugated ring on the back anticlockwise. Then pull the
milling cutter backwards.
The Dahle 133 is delivered without pencil and shavings. ;-)
