Tortillons are tools made out of rolled paper. Use them to burnish colored pencils, graphite, charcoal, pastel and other materials on paper. Works dry and with white spirit.
What's the difference between stumps and tortillons? Stumps are rolled more compact, and so they are harder than tortillons. Tortillions are hollow.
Stumps can be sharpened with a scalpel, knife or a sandpaper block.
